Privacy Policy

At Nurik Health ("Nurik" or "we") we take your privacy seriously. This Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have regarding your personal information. We comply with Chile's Law 19.628 on the Protection of Private Life and our data treatment is designed to be compatible with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in anticipation of future international expansion.

1. Data Controller

The controller of your personal data is Nurik Health, with offices in Santiago, Chile. Controller contact: hola@nurikhealth.com.

3. How we use your data

Service operation: processing your reservation, managing your account, calculating your Readiness Score, providing AI Coach recommendations.
Communication: sending confirmations, shipping updates, support, and newsletter (if subscribed).
Product improvement: analyzing aggregated and anonymous usage to improve the App and algorithms.
Legal compliance: responding to requirements from competent Chilean authorities when applicable.

We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Who we share your data with

We share data only with providers strictly necessary to operate the Service. Each has confidentiality clauses and only accesses the minimum required:

Flow Chile — payment gateway for processing reservations and subscriptions (card data).
Sibionics — provider of continuous glucose and ketone sensors (if you activate the optional biosensor, readings flow through their cloud).
Mailchimp — email marketing platform (if you subscribe to newsletter).
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Analytics — measurement and advertising tools. They may use cookies and conversion events. If you opt out, you can adjust preferences in your browser or in our App.
Infrastructure providers (Vercel hosting, cloud database such as Supabase, AWS storage) — they store encrypted data.

5. Storage and security

Your data is stored on cloud servers with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS 1.2+) and at rest. We limit Nurik team access to those who need it to operate. We do not transfer data outside Chile without the safeguards required by Law 19.628 and by GDPR when applicable.

Retention periods:

Account and payment data: while your account is active + 6 years afterwards (Chilean tax compliance).
Biometric data: while your account is active. Upon deletion, anonymized within 30 days.
Marketing data: until you withdraw consent.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access: request a copy of your data.
Rectification: correct inaccurate data.
Erasure: request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations).
Object: opt out of marketing processing.
Portability: receive your data in a structured, portable format.
Withdraw consent: at any time, without affecting the legality of prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, write to hola@nurikhealth.com. We respond within a maximum of 30 calendar days.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use first- and third-party cookies for:

Essential cookies — site and App functionality.
Measurement cookies — Google Analytics and Meta Pixel (if active) to understand site usage.
Marketing cookies — to show you relevant content on social networks (only with your consent).

You can manage your preferences from your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect Service functionality.

8. Minors' data

The Service is directed at users 18 years and older. We do not intentionally collect data from minors. If you believe a minor provided us with data, write to hola@nurikhealth.com and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. We will notify material changes by email or in the App.
