Terms and Conditions
Last updated: April 27, 2026These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of the Nurik Health platform ("Nurik", "we", or the "Service"), operated from Santiago, Chile. By using our website, reserving a device, subscribing to the app, or interacting with any Nurik product or service, you accept these Terms in full.
1. Definitions
- User: an individual aged 18 or older who accepts these Terms and uses the Service.
- Nurik Band: hardware device (wristband) sold via pre-order, shipping starting Q4 2026.
- Biosensors: external Bluetooth Low Energy compatible devices that the User can optionally integrate (glucose, ketones, lactate, hydration, among others).
- App: Nurik mobile application that consolidates biomarker readings, Readiness score, and AI Coach recommendations.
- Reservation: USD 30 (≈ CLP 27,000) payment to secure a spot in the first shipping round of the Nurik Band.
- Subscription: monthly plan to access the AI Coach and advanced features in the App.
2. Service Description
Nurik offers an open biosensor platform built for amateur athletes and performance enthusiasts. The Service includes:
- A physical band (Nurik Band) with native sensors.
- A mobile App that integrates band data with optional external biosensors.
- An AI Coach (subscription) delivering personalized recommendations based on User data.
The Service is for recreational and athletic use, not medical (see disclaimer above).
3. Pre-order reservations
3.1 Reservation payment
By reserving your Nurik, you authorize a one-time charge of USD 30 (≈ CLP 27,000) processed through Flow Chile, our payment gateway. The reservation secures your spot in the first shipping round.
3.2 100% refund policy
The reservation is 100% refundable under any of the following scenarios:
- If you cancel your reservation before we ship the device.
- If Nurik does not launch the Band on the planned schedule (Q4 2026) and you choose not to wait for the new schedule.
- If, after receiving the Band, you choose to return it within 30 days of delivery (return shipping costs are the User's responsibility).
To request a refund, write to hola@nurikhealth.com. We process refunds within 5-10 business days through the same Flow gateway.
4. User registration and account
To use the App, you must create an account by providing accurate information and keeping it up to date. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account.
5. Monthly subscription
The AI Coach subscription plan is billed monthly at USD 25 through the Flow gateway. You can cancel the subscription at any time from the App; pre-paid charges are non-refundable, but you retain access until the end of the billed period.
External biosensors (glucose, ketones, lactate, hydration) carry an additional cost of USD 5 per sensor per month, voluntary opt-in.
6. User Conduct
You agree to use the Service legally, ethically, and respectfully. The following are prohibited:
- Using the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes.
- Tampering with or attempting to gain unauthorized access to Nurik's infrastructure.
- Sharing your account or credentials with third parties.
- Using Nurik as a substitute for professional medical care.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the site, the App, the Band design, the Readiness score algorithms, and the Nurik brand are the exclusive property of Nurik Health. Reproduction, distribution, modification, or reverse engineering without our written authorization is prohibited.
The data generated through your use of the Service belongs to you. Nurik holds a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of operating the Service (see Privacy Policy).
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". While we make reasonable efforts to maintain data accuracy and Service availability, Nurik is not liable for:
- Health, nutrition, or training decisions you make based on platform data. Remember: Nurik is not a medical device.
- Temporary Service interruptions, technical failures, or connectivity loss.
- Injuries or damages arising from improper use of the Service.
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. We will notify material changes by email or in the App. Continued use of the Service after changes implies acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be resolved by the ordinary courts of justice located in the city of Santiago, Metropolitan Region, Chile.
